The caption may indicate the size of blooms you can expect (see Judging Guidelines for the size definitions). These expectations are for plants grown in good conditions and plants that have been groomed to produce the larger sizes. A plant may produce larger or smaller blooms than the indication. Often the blooms become smaller later in the season.
Most of these dahlias are of the Fimbriated Cactus type. The caption states if it is a fimbriated form of a different type.
