  Victoria's premier Dahlia event returns in 2026, showcasing a visually stunning array of thousands of Dahlia blooms from both State and National growers, and includes the highly coveted Australian National Dahlia Championship. The 2026 Show features award winning Dahlia Displays, Floral Art Dahlia Displays, a Photographic Competition and Exhibition, a Sunday Talk from an Accredited Dahlia Judge and Expert Advice for all things Dahlia. The Show also includes the popular Potted Dahlia Plant Stall, a Cut Flower Stall and our delicious Devonshire Teas that we are famous for.                    “A must see for garden lovers of all ages”.

  Breeding New Dahlias

  10 years ago I began to grow dahlias from seed collected from my patch in Newcastle in an attempt to breed new varieties of dahlias. My aim was and still is to produce vase worthy blooms in new and unusual colours and forms What began as a simple experiment has sparked a passion for producing and sharing a new range of Australian dahlias including the dusky, smokey hues of Lileah Caramel Rose, the wavy petals of Lileah Mailman and the petaloid form of Lileah Pink Petticoats.
