Stewarding and Judging Training for the 2025 Season
There is no need to have attended previous sessions, but be warned that some of these sessions will be quite technical, so be prepared. Watching the thirty minute types video, will give you a good foundation. There is always learning to be done.
Sun 12 Jan, 10am -1pm, Judging Deep Dive with a focus on the pom, ball and decorative types, includes a light lunch
Sat 8 Feb, Mini-show at the Mt Waverley Hall – a chance to put things into practice, whether that’s showing, stewarding or judging, a real hands on day. This is the best day to learn about stewarding.
Wed 12 Feb, Mini-show at the monthly meeting – a chance again for showing, stewarding and judging practice
Sat 22 Feb, 5pm, Debrief from the judges on results at the State Show an opportunity to hear directly what was good and perhaps not so good at the show
Sun 23 Feb, Noon – Live judging session of the Sunday Special
Thu 19 Mar, Mini-show at the monthly meeting – a chance for showing practice.
Sun 30 Mar, 10am – 1pm Judging Deep Dive on the sundry types – includes a light lunch
